Fearne Cotton is a British TV and Radio Presenter born on September 3, 1981 in Northwood, London. She has a younger brother named Jamie, and her father worked as a sign writer for various events. She grew up in Eastcote, a suburb in West London, and attended the Haydon School in West London. She loves animals and is a religious vegetarian. Known for her good looks and slim figure, Fearne Cotton runs at least 5 kilometers three times a week as part of her healthy lifestyle. She also joins marathons for charity purposes. She is a first cousin of Sir Bill Cotton, a former BBC executive.
Fearne Cotton started her career in 1998 at the age of 16, when she presented the children’s show The Disney Club, as well as its replacement, Diggit. She has a talent for art and studied at A levels, and because of this she became a host of various kids art shows such as Draw Your Own Toons.
Because of her passion for art, Fearne Cotton also likes having art on her body, thus explaining why she has eleven tattoos on her body. The most notable of her body art is that of a fern leaf, which covers her right hip up to her rib cage.
Fearne Cotton is the first permanent female host on BBC radio, and has been active in various telethons and events in the United Kingdom. She has interviewed Princes Harry and William before the Concert for Diana on July 2007, and became a regular host on Top of the Pop until the show ended.
Because of her good looks and celebrity status, Fearne Cotton has been involved with various personalities, including Ian Watkins of Lost prophets, Fame Academy’s Peter Brame, Steve Jones and Robbie Williams. She is best friends with Holly Willoughby, and became a bridesmaid on the latter’s wedding in 2007.
