Fearne Cotton is a British TV presenter who was first discovered by The Disney Club back in 1998. She began to host the show as well as its replacement, Diggit. After two years she left for bigger projects on CITV, with programs such as Draw Your Own Toons¸ and Mouse, which encouraged children to actively use computers. The following year, Fearne Cotton became part of CBBC and hosted Eureka TV. In 2002 she moved over to present Finger Tips alongside Stephen Mulhern. She also hosted the Sunday morning show, Smile, and The Saturday Show.

2003 was the year that paved the way for Fearne Cotton to enter the mainstream UK television. She, together with co-presenter Simon Grant, hosted the show Top of the Pops: Saturday, and in 2004 she teamed up with Reggie Yates for the main program Top of the Pops. She left TOTP before its finale on July 2006, via a pre-taped farewell video to fans and personal friends.

After life with TOTP, Fearne Cotton began to host various reality TV shows, such as Love Island for iTV, and the Friday night live eviction show for the reality series Make Me a Supermodel. Fearne Cotton didn’t stop there, as in 2007 she replaced Ben Shephard to host the X Factor spinoff, Xtra Factor. She also hosted a show for lonely single persons, Holly & Fearne Go Dating, together with Holly Willoughby.

Being an established TV host and presenter, Fearne Cotton was seen in various events and telethons, such as Live 8, Children in Need, and Red Nose Day for Comic Relief. Fearne Cotton has since worked with various stars such as Robbie Williams, Terry Wogan, Natasha Kaplinsky, Jonathan Ross, Lenny Henry, Gary Barlow, Alesha Dixon, Ronan Keating, Denise Van Outen, and Cheryl Cole. She also lent her speaking voice for the BT Speaking Clock in order to raise money for Comic Relief.

Aside from TV hosting, Fearne Cotton also became active in the radio scene. She presented the Chart Show, which made her the first permanent female presenter for the BBC radio show. She also covered the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, and Making Your Mind Up 2007. Among her greatest achievements was when she interviewed Princes William and Harry right before the Concert for Diana in 2007.

Fearne Cotton was also the presenter of The Truth about Online Anorexia, which talked about the practices suggested in pro-anorexia sites, as well as the Isle of Wright Festival 2009. In the United States, Fearne Cotton hosted The Guinness Book of Records-Live and the NBC reality show Last Comic Standing.
